Baril is a Netherlands-based paint manufacturer that markets its products internationally to a variety of industry sectors and home users. Baril required a versatile brand that could encompass its wide range of products, while also reflecting key messages about the nature of its products. Importantly, the branding needed strong modularity to fit with Baril's complex marketing plan, which also included the franchising of some of its global sales zones. The redesign of the logo, website, and associated marketing collateral was achieved via in depth research Baril's interviews with key customers of Baril as well as members of Baril's senior management team.
A significant achievement included the development of the website (below), with the capability to convey marketing messages for prospective decision makers as well as important technical specifications for the actual paint users.
