Rebrand implementation

Following a rebrand of the organisation in 2007, I was contracted by the Marketing and Communications Manager to launch, implement and roll out the new brand across the organisation's collateral over a 5 month period, along with a contract communications advisor.
My role included art direction and usability consultancy for a new-concept website, as well as art direction to ensure brand consistency and integrity for more than 500 pieces of external collateral.
During the roll out, I was responsible for any subcontracted bulk processing of desktop published material and also designed high level B2B and B2C collateral, i.e.: first line marketing material, signage, livery, and annual reports. Over the next 5 months we also rolled out over 300 pieces of internal communications resources.
The rebrand project allowed me to build up an in-depth working knowledge of the Tranzqual brand in a wide range of production applications and to maintain the visual standard across the board.
This consolidated a long professional association with Tranzqual which was retained for a further 6 years, despite restaffing within the Marketing and Research Group and the Resource Development Group (both of whom contracted my services), right up until the government-enforced merger in 2011.
Over this time, I was responsible for inducting incoming staff about the brand, its value, correct use and its role in the organisation. I also generated marketing collateral for 4 sub-brands designed to promote qualifications and events to various market sectors.

Subbrand design and management
Tranzqual needed a range of sub brands designed under the corporate brand which I designed and managed. This included product brands for training packages, event branding, youth brands and a visual system to group qualifications within sector areas.
Fit-for-purpose Training and Assessment Material
Information design and usability assessments for vocational training and assessment material. Specialising in low-literacy users.

Event Collateral
Tranzqual ITO managed a number of industry-related conferences throughout the year. I was hired to design event branding and collateral, including personalised lanyards, trophies and certificates, menus, information, banners, signage and goodie bag.
I also oversaw production to budget and completed quality checks for lazer engraving, digital printing, screen printing,  button production and collating personalised information for participants.
